Mr N. Ludada
Founder & Managing Director

Overall 10 years experience in the field

Mr Ludada was recruited by the Eastern Cape Department of Health in 2004 to pursue a BSc Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics in Tumaini University Tanzania. This was part of Eastern Cape Department of Health recruitment and retaining strategy to combat the limited number of these cadre of professionals and service in the province and the country at large. Upon completion he served 4 years at Frere Hospital East London.

The first first In 2014 he was awarded a Master Scholarship by Australian Government through Australia Awards in Africa program. Australia Awards in Africa provides access to postgraduate education, training and professional development opportunities for suitably qualified Africans from eligible countries. On their return to the workplace, Australia Awards Alumni are expected to contribute to the development of their home countries. Upon completion in 2015 he joined Walter Sisulu University in a new training program in Prosthetics and Orthotics.

While working at WSU, it was then where he established Ludada and Associate Orthopedic services in order to address the social challenges affecting people with disabilities, the Training University WSU, Students, lecturers and the Department of Health.

The Currently why running the business he is also doing his Master in Business Administration at Regenesys Business School.

Francis Kwahene
Director

The operation and finances of the business are headed by Mr Francis Kwahene CA (SA) and Mr Alatha Ndlebe CA SA who occupy the roles of operations director and financial director respectively. Their duties are to manage the financial and operational activities of the business. They are also responsible for all areas of corporate governance and compliance

Luphiwo Mduzana
Director

5 years experience

The clinical operations are headed by Mr Luphiwo Mduzana with a BSc in Prosthetics and Orthotics from Tanzania and Master of Rehabilitation from Stellenbosch University.
He has 5years of experience in Prosthetic service delivery at Frere Hospital and 1 year of training and education as lecturer at WSU.

Ndlebe Alatha
Director

The operation and finances of the business are also managed by Mr Alatha Ndlebe CA SA who occupy the roles of operations director and financial director respectively. Their duties are to manage the financial and operational activities of the business. They are also responsible for all areas of corporate governance and compliance.

Mr Alatha is also a Senior Lecturer.

Staff

Mxolisi Shezi
 
Permanent Medical Orthotist Prosthetist with a BSc degree from Walter Sisulu and Tshwane University of Technology. He has been in our establishment since January 2020 when he was allocated to us for his experiential learning by Walter Sisulu University. Upon his completion, the company retained him and offered him a new entry position. His role is clinical and technical which include patient assessment, fitting and manufacturing.
 
Ayabulela Nkalweni
 
Medical Orthotist Prosthetist with a BSc degree from Walter Sisulu and Tshwane University of Technology.
 
Thandi Makubalo

Thandi is our administrator with more than 10 years of experience. She was recruited in February 2020. Image to follow. Her role is the overall administration of the business.

Kauta Nkwenkwe

Kauta is our receptionist and she has been with us since March 2020.

  • Assessment & Treatment of patients with neuromusculoskeletal conditions e.g. neck, back pain, and knee pain
  • Rehabilitation of Adult Neurological conditions e.g. Strokes, Traumatic brain injuries
  • Chest Physiotherapy in In-hospital patients including Paediatrics
  • Pre & Post-op Physiotherapy in surgical patients in hospital
  • Promoting health and preventing recurrence of Injuries.
Occupational Therapist Asisipho Vimbani
BSc University of Cape Town

6 Years working experience in Public & Private sector.

  • Assessment and treatment of paediatrics with developmental delays.
  • Measurement and prescription of wheelchairs Facilitating return to work
  • Assessment and report writing for occupational related claims.
  • Assessment and treatment of learning disabilities

Partners

Benefited in the incubation both monetary and non-monetary wise. They allocated with their partners R1 200 000 for our machinery and we have used almost R800 000.
